| Note | | 'Thomas Harbour appears to have arrived on the North Americ an Continent around 1691 and settled in Patrick County, Vir ginia. Several land deeds were recorded in Virginia which s how Thomas as having farmed large tracts of land. His dat e of birth has been placed at 1675 in Wales although the su rname Harbour is believed to be Anglo-Saxon in origin. I t is possible that the family may have settled in Wales o f its own accord or that for military service the English C rown may have given land in Wales to the family.' |
