Birth*circa 1840 Claiborne County, Tennessee
Marriage* Principal=Catherine 'Katha' DUNN
Occupation*
Note* BIO: Eli KECK was thought to have been the first child born to Philip and Rachael KECK until compiler received the transcription of the 1850 census which showed Henry as the oldest child in the household. Henry was gone from the home by census enumeration time in 1860, and Eli was the oldest there. By the time of the enumeration for the 1870 census, Eli was married and the head of his own household. On the 1880 census, Eli and wife, 'Catherine' are shown with four children. There is a military marker in Pleasant Point Cemetery, Claiborne County, TN, which is recorded by Paul Johnson as bearing the inscription, 'Eli Keck - Co E. 1st Tenn. L.A.' but there are no dates. This marker is apparently next to the grave of Eli's wife, Catherine Dunn Keck.
